Dynamic Self-Checking: Features an internal, oscillating shutter mechanism that mechanically interrupts the path of UV radiation 12 times every minute. This constant cycling allows the flame safeguard system to verify that the UV sensor tube is functioning properly and hasn't failed in a dangerous "always-on" state.
Flexible Positioning: Supports mounting horizontally, vertically, or at any intermediate angle. Note that faceplate alignment with integral locating reference points is mandatory to guarantee correct mechanical shutter movement.
Dual Detector Parallel Wiring: In demanding or irregular flame-sighting conditions, two C7061A scanners can be wired completely in parallel to a single terminal. This significantly mitigates nuisance system shutdowns.
