Isolate Power: Completely turn off the electrical mains to the outdoor unit.
Disconnect the Plug: Locate the motor's control plug on the main PCB board. Release the safety prongs to pull the wiring harness out.
Identify Wire Configuration: The plug features a multi-pin block containing a Red wire, a gap space, and then Blue, Brown, Orange, and White wires.
Test Resistance Points: Measure the resistance between the following colors:
Red to Blue: Should read high impedance (over 100 kΩ). If it reads open or shows no value, swap your multimeter prongs around to check the diode bias.
Brown to Blue: Typically measures around 1,200 Ω (over 100 Ω).
White to Blue: Typically measures in the megaohm scale (over 1 MΩ).
